Autumn Fantasy

I found this video of Autumn Ward's performance "Damask Rose," from the Venus Uprising Fantasy Belly Dance Concert held on September 7-8 in New York City. This was my favorite performance of the show, so I am thrilled that she has made it available online.


The Fantasy Belly Dance concert consisted of 12 numbers, each of which told a story through the song, costumes and dance. I loved the concept of the show from first reading about it, and the execution was excellent overall.

My other favorite performances were Sarah Skinner's Mata Hari Unvieled, for which she created a gorgeous costume.
