I recently discovered Suheir Zaki on Youtube. She is by far my favorite classic egyptian star. Her performances are energetic and earthy and her costumes are amazingly sexy and cute. Here is a video of an over-the-top performance of hers, featuring giant stage cats and Suheir bursting through a tambourine:
